I live in the North West of England in a sea-side town called Blackpool, sometimes called 'The gay Capital of England'. There are quite a few gay venues here and the town has a very relaxed attitude towards the gay community. As yet there is no 'girls only venue'. I'm not sure if I'd like that anyway as I much prefer to go to mixed or even straight pubs and clubs, more variety if you know what I mean.
I've also included some photo's of Blackpool,
so you can see what kind of place it is. Blackpool is usually quite
busy. The season lasts from Easter until early November. The
whole of the promenade, (for a distance of about 3 to 4 miles), is illuminated
from September until November. Even some of the trams that run along
the promenade ar illuminated as well. You can get a really nice view
of Blackpool from the top of the Tower, (Blackpools famous landmark, it's
almost very similar to the one in Paris).

And finally, If you should ever decide to visit
Blackpool, here is where you can find out all about the gay side of the
town before you arrive. The site is fairly male orientated, (probably
because it's hosted by a man), but you'll still find out all about accomodation,
pubs, clubs and all that sort of thing, there are even maps to tell you
how to get here and a map showing all the gay bars.
